AI Automation for the Music Industry
We build custom AI automation for record labels and artist managers. Eliminate the repetitive work. Stay focused on your artists.
The problem
One email stream for five artists, every advance, every deal, every inquiry — and sorting it falls on you personally. Nothing is where it should be, and nothing is trackable.
Advances come in by email. Someone reads them. Someone else types the details into Master Tour. Every show, every time. One missed detail becomes a production problem at load-in.
Management, agents, tour managers, bands, publicists, label — all talking in separate channels. Nobody has the full picture, and what falls through the cracks lands on you.
What we build
Every system is custom-built for your workflow. If it exists in the music business and it's automatable, it can be built.
Your inbox becomes the trigger for everything downstream. An advance arrives and Master Tour updates. A booking hold comes in and a task is created. Email stops being a pile and becomes the input layer your operation runs on.
The complete operational layer for your label: inbox triage, tour logistics, royalty tracking, publishing workflows, and cross-team communications unified and automated across your entire roster.
A custom chat interface trained on your operation: contacts, deal terms, royalty splits, booking holds, release schedules, rider details. Ask instead of hunting through emails and folders.
Incoming advance emails are automatically parsed for schedule, contacts, technical requirements, and logistics, then populated directly into Master Tour. No manual entry, no missed details.
If it exists in the music business and it's eating your team's time, it can probably be automated. Describe what's slowing you down and we'll tell you if it's buildable.
Two systems are live for Harvey Street's tour manager right now: the advance-to-Master Tour integration and an email organizer.
When an advance arrives, the system extracts the schedule, contacts, and logistics and populates Master Tour. No manual entry. The email organizer automatically categorizes incoming emails to Harvey Street's exact needs, trained on past inbox behavior, and continues improving itself over time.

Who builds this
Jackson Reed is the guitarist for Harvey Street and a software engineer with experience at a large enterprise tech company.
Touring full-time while working full-time gave him a view that most people in either world never get. He watched the music industry up close and kept seeing the same thing: humans doing robot jobs. Advances retyped by hand. Royalty statements reconciled in spreadsheets. Emails sorted manually. Schedules built from scratch for every show.
The tech gap was obvious — and so was the reason nobody had closed it. Most engineers don't tour. Most touring musicians don't build software. Backline Agency exists because Jackson does both, and can see the problems clearly enough to actually solve them.
